5 Must See Movies This 2014

This year 2014 is full of potentially great films, and I have listed my top 10 must-see movies for this year. The movies range from drama to comedy to out-of-this-world plots. Check out my list below of the 5 must see movies this 2014.

Noah a little bit bizarre movie. The movie is writer-director Darren Aronofksy’s interpretation of the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. The story is just like the biblical story but the Noah in this movie is not like the person we read in the stories. Check this film for yourself to know what I am talking about. The film stars Russell Crowe as Noah along with Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Anthony Hopkins, and Douglas Booth.

I have seen this film and I highly suggest it. This is a story of a genius doctor/researcher; Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He aims to create a super-machine that will be able to combine collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions. His thirst for knowledge evolves into something powerful and terrifying.
This movie also stars Rebecca Hall and Paul Bettany.

I am a big fan of this book and its tear-jerking story. This movie is an adaptation of John Green’s book “The Fault in Our Stars” published in January 2012. The story is about two teens, Hazel and Gus. Hazel who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with the seventeen-year-old, ex-basketball player and amputee, Augustus Waters.

The most terrifying (and well popular) of all has risen again. The film is a remake of the Godzilla film franchise, and retells the story of Godzilla in contemporary times as a “terrifying force of nature.” The movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston.

This movie tells the story of Maleficent, the sorceress who is responsible for the curse of Aurora in the classic fairytale, “Sleeping Beauty.” It takes us back to Maleficent’s past and what made her a villain. This movie has great visuals and everyone has been dying to see it since the trailers were released earlier this year.

How about you guys? What are your must-see movies this 2014?
