Going Green in Motion.

Solar panels have long been considered a good source of alternate energy. We see them powering houses, street signs, and office buildings. We don’t normally think of taking them with us from place to place though. Be prepared. We’ve found a good source of alternate energy that can help you be more efficient too.

Have you ever been away from home and needed to make a call only to find that your cell phone battery was dead? I know I have. It’s always when you really desperately need to make a call. These days, pay phones are getting harder and harder to find. What’s a girl to do?

A company called Reware has got your back. They make and sell bags, totes, and even a “Profolio” that have their very own solar panel. The line is called Juice. If it has a cigarette lighter adapter then it will work with these bags.

From their site:

Juice Bags come with a built-in Car Lighter Adapter (CLA) socket – the same plug as in a car. It’s universal. Just plug in the adapter you would normally use in the car that is approved for your phone, PDA, MP3 player or other 12volt device. The moment sunlight falls on the Juice Bags solar panel, the bag generates electricity. It is that easy!”

Juice bags are made in the USA. Reware is interested in reducing it’s carbon footprint, but they are also interested in supporting the economy domestically.

Reware is also currently working on technology that will let your charge your laptop on the go as well. Imagine yourself in the great outdoors, surfing the net in the sunshine, and not having to worry about your battery life. The same bag that holds your laptop, carefully packaged sun screen, and a snack will be capable of sustaining you and your laptop. The future is looking good and on the go.
